I'm Not One MP3 - 5.3 Mbs

A BUSH PARTY EXCLUSIVE!!!
Two rare, unreleased tracks from the now-defunct TIMBER KINGS!!!
Recorded during the SHE CHANGED HER NAME TO MASHUMA sessions, SMILE and SCENESTRESS are shining examples of The Timber Kings rock and roll spectrum.
Smile is Dave Lang stretching The Timber Kings pop muscles and contains the classic line - "Bamboo's used for more than tiki torches".
Dave Lang says, "Smile wasn't included on 'She Changed Her Name To Mashuma' because it was too pop and didn't fit the character very well. I still like the faux Sweet Jane ending, though."
"Dave told me to play a guitar line that was reminiscent of lying in the sunshine of an english garden, or something like that," says guitarist Brock Ellis. "I recall a lukewarm response to my performance. It took me about fifty takes. Listening back, I can't believe it took me so long. It was the end of a long day of recording and we were usually a bit sauced by mid-afternoon."

"The Brock Ellis penned Scenestress is a power-pop romp that Ellis has claimed "is not about Carolyn Mark" It was left off the album "probably because all the breathy singing at the end sounded pretty dumb." Dave Lang adds, "Brock didn't like this version of "Scenestress", but I did want to fuck many many of his friends. I was disappointed when he moved to Vancouver."
