Schell Brewing Company decided to try marketing beer towards men. Everything is MACHO about MACHO from the font to the colour. What is more MACHO than brown?

August Schell Brewing Co. again. Brewing "The Sportsman Choice". And you know who every sportsman identifies with the most - the referee! It's brewed for Time Out of America Inc., an organization that supplied beer to teams when they took a time out.

"Just a little Light Reading before I hit the hay there honey." A beer for the Reader's digest crowd.

Scene One: We knock off a few of these light premium beers.
Scene Two: We go back to my place.

It's light. But it's a Strong kind of light. And it's the Deer Brand Beer.

"That last beer was a no-good lyin' sonofabitch! Give me one of them Smith and Reilly Honest Beers!"

Stallion 12. The Thoroughbred of Malt Liquors. I'll forever be suspicious of a beer that uses a horse in it's logo.

Another horse, but Stegmaier doesn't try to be pretentious here. It's a simple photo of a horse on a cloudy day. Dark and strong, just like a good Porter. Horses are always used to sell strong, heavy beers. You'll never see Mustang VII Lager.

Not only are Vikings really cool and manly but we here at Bush Party love wood grain (check out TNT). I wish they still brewed Viking. It would be the kind of beer that you call by name, like "Hey Kasey, grab me one of those Vikings!" It truly would be the grand warrior brew of our rec room.
